Meet Brian Buehler

Brian Buehler

My name is Brian Buehler and I’m excited to be serving as the principal of Selah Middle School. My wife and I have been part of the Selah community for nearly a decade, where we’re raising our three kids—a recent graduate and two high schoolers. I grew up in the Yakima Valley and have spent most of my life in this area, so it means a lot to give back to the region that raised me.

Most of my educational career has been spent in middle schools, including time in the Mt. Adams, Union Gap, and Grandview School Districts. I believe in building strong relationships with students and families through open communication, consistency, and shared accountability. My goal is to create a school environment where every student feels supported, challenged, and part of a community that believes in them.
