Meet Tami Turner
I'm Tami Turner, and I'm thrilled to be joining you as one of the middle school's assistant principals. My journey in education has come full circle, starting with student teaching right here in Selah. Over the years, I've taught special education, from kindergarten to 6th grade, in both the East Valley and Selah school districts. My roles have varied, including serving as a dean of students and assistant principal in Selah and later as an assistant special education director in Yakima.
Selah holds a special place in my heart as a community member and proud graduate of the high school. After exploring different paths, I found my way back to Selah School District. I am genuinely excited to contribute my passion and expertise to the middle school.
On a personal note, I'm married with two daughters. One has recently graduated from Selah, and the other is now a freshman at the high school. I feel incredibly blessed to call Selah home and am thankful to serve the community that has given so much to me.
I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together to continue the tradition of excellence in Selah
